Security and two-factor sign-in

Everything in Security keeps your customers' data safe — most of it takes one minute to set up.

Two-factor sign-in (2FA)

Open Security → Two-factor authentication and click to set it up.

Scan the QR code with an authenticator app — Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy or 1Password.

Enter the 6-digit code to confirm, then save your backup codes somewhere safe. Each backup code works once, if you lose your phone.

From then on, signing in — with a password or with Google — also asks for the current code.

Note: Lost your phone and your backup codes? A workspace admin can reset your 2FA from the Users page.

Signed-in devices

Signed-in devices lists every browser signed in to your account, with device, location (IP) and last activity. Sign out any one of them — or all others — instantly. Changing your password also signs out your other devices.

Sign-in activity and lockout

Sign-in activity shows successful and failed sign-ins with time, device and IP. After 5 wrong passwords or codes within 15 minutes, the account is locked for 15 minutes to stop guessing.

Workspace policy (admins)

Require 2FAEveryone must set up two-factor sign-in before they can use the workspace. Turn it on after enrolling yourself.
Sign someone out everywhereFrom Users — for a lost laptop or a suspicious sign-in.

Audit log (admins)

Security → Audit log records important changes in plain language: invites accepted, users created, deactivated or reactivated, role changes and ownership transfers, passwords changed, devices signed out, and stored integration credentials added or removed. Available on plans that include audit logs.

Your data

  • All traffic uses HTTPS. Integration credentials, mailbox passwords and 2FA secrets are stored encrypted.
  • WhatsApp runs only on the official WhatsApp Business Platform.
  • You can export your leads at any time (Import/Export) and ask for your data to be deleted — see our data deletion and privacy policies.
