How leads arrive
Leads land in Leads from every connected source, each tagged with its source (Meta Ads, WhatsApp, Website, IndiaMART, CSV Import and so on):
- Ad and portal integrations create leads automatically as soon as the enquiry arrives.
- WhatsApp: a person who messages you after clicking a WhatsApp ad becomes a lead automatically. Any other new chat stays in the inbox until someone clicks Create lead — so personal or supplier chats don't clutter your leads.
- Web forms, CSV import and Add lead (manual entry) round it off.
Duplicates and re-enquiries
Before creating a lead, Telemantix looks for an existing one with the same phone number or email. If it finds one, it doesn't create a second copy — it records Enquired again on the existing lead's activity and counts how many times they've come back — a strong buying signal worth acting on quickly.
The lead record
Open any lead to see and do everything in one place:
Score and temperature
Every lead has a score from 0 to 100, recalculated as things happen. It combines the quality of the source, engagement (WhatsApp replies, form submissions), how recent the activity is and how far along the pipeline the lead is. It's shown as a temperature so reps know where to spend time: Hot (80 and above), Warm (50–79) and Cold (below 50).
Pipeline stages
New workspaces start with: New Lead → Call → WhatsApp → Meeting Done → Agreement Shared → Signed / Onboarding / Converted (won) and Lost. Change them any time in Pipeline → Customize stages (up to 20 stages). Each stage has a type:
Two rules keep the pipeline honest:
- The first stage is for untouched leads only. The first time someone works a lead — a call log, a WhatsApp reply, a follow-up — it moves to the next open stage automatically.
- A worked lead can't be dragged back into the first stage.
Assignment and SLA
Settings → Lead Assignment decides who gets new leads from every source: round-robin (take turns) or load-balanced (the person with the fewest open leads). You can also assign leads by hand or with an automation rule.
Settings → SLA sets how quickly a new lead must be contacted. Leads that wait longer are marked with an SLA badge, the owner is alerted, and the breach shows up in the daily summary.
Contacts and companies
Each lead is linked to a Contact (the person) by phone and email, and contacts can belong to a Company. Open Contacts to see a person's every enquiry over time, or a company's people and deals together.
