Fields Reference

Account SIDYour Exotel account SID — found in Account Settings → API Keys.
API KeyYour Exotel API Key. Stored encrypted in Telemantix.
API HostThe Exotel API hostname. Default is api.exotel.com. Change only if your account uses a different subdomain.
Verify TokenA secret token added to webhook requests for verification.

Common Issues

Authentication failed

Double-check your Account SID and API Key — they're different from your login credentials. Both are found in Account Settings → API Keys.

Calls not creating leads

Verify the webhook URL is correctly set in your Exotel applet's Passthru URL or Action URL field.

Duplicate leads from repeat callers

Telemantix deduplicates by phone number. A repeat caller will update the existing lead's Re-Enquiry count rather than create a duplicate.
